Two sides to every story.

October 28, 2010

There’s a new video out, which shows Lauren Valle getting too close to Rand Paul’s car. Whether she was justified in getting that close, or it’s a lapse in his security is a different thing. She was taken down, rightfully so, anyone in their right frame of mind would get her away from there, as no one knew who she was or what she trying to do.  It still doesn’t condone putting your foot on her head after she’s clearly restrained, but the last time someone got this close to a politician, a bomb went off, and a prime minister hopeful was dead.  Please don’t tell me that it couldn’t happen in the US of A.

Conclusion? Putting your head on a clearly subdued protester Bad.

Getting stupidly close to a politician when you aren’t cleared by the security detail? Stupid.
